My expectations for my English 103 Lab are pretty laid back. If we set high goals for the lab section of this course, then we will end up having two English classes which is an extra load that I don't need. Our English classes expect a lot out of their students, so I believe my lab class should be a time to talk about the things we don't understand and possibly even a time to work on some of the work.
I also have a math lab and I personally don't see the point of either. My math lab is just a study hall and time to review homework and ask questions. It works out ok, however, it still seems pointless to me. The time to study and do work is nice. It would be ideal if this class was similar- a time for working on material from class as well as group discussions.
